About Our Pastor

Kelby Johnson

Kelby Johnson has been the pastor of CBC since March 2019. He was born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi. He became a Christian at a young age and surrendered his life to gospel ministry in 2001. Kelby has a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Baptist College and a Master's of Divinity Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Kelby is married to Jessie and has 4 children. Adin (17), Andrew (14), Aubrey (5), and Auden (3).
